Mission Statement
O.S.I.'s goal is to provide our clients with a thorough, scientific, unbiased investigation of alleged paranormal activities. By following established procedures used by reputable agencies within the same field, we at O.S.I. will provide the client with a professional opinion of what we believe is going on based on the data gathered and any correlating evidence discovered or debunked.
By attempting to debunk experiences we are not trying to discredit the client, we are simply trying to discover rational, natural explanations for otherwise irrational, unnatural events. We will come in with an open mind but will initially deem every investigation to be "not haunted" until solid unexplainable evidence is gathered. We absolutely believe that something is going on, we just want to find out what.
We also understand that situations like this can be difficult to come to terms with and contacting an agency such as this can be an intimidating experience. Investigation Process
This is a basic procedural outline for a typical O.S.I. Paranormal investigation. O.S.I. will handle each and every investigation in a similar fashion. Some procedures may be added or changed accordingly as our equipment is upgraded or new equipment is added.
CLIENT & WITNESS INTERVIEWS - Interviews with the client and/or any associates of the client who have had significant experiences.
WALKTHROUGH - O.S.I. and the client will tour the investigation site. The client will provide detailed accounts of experiences in alleged "hot spots" for activity. All occurrences will be documented for cross referencing on completion of investigation.
BASELINE READINGS - O.S.I. members will take baseline readings of the investigation site. This will include temperature readings, EMF readings, and a visual and physical check of the area to be investigated.
EQUIPMENT CHECK - All equipment will be checked and checked again. O.S.I. will make sure the batteries are fresh and the equipment is all working properly to assure quality results. This procedure will be adjusted as equipment is added or upgraded.
INVESTIGATION - The O.S.I. team goes to work. EVP sessions will be held as well as another round of baseline readings taken. Digital still photos and video footage will be taken. We will attempt to recreate the reported circumstances as well and will document all attempted recreations for the client. We will also adamantly be trying to communicate with any potential "visitors" the whole time. The investigation process itself should ideally occur in the late hours of night into the early hours of morning. Preferably between 10pm and 4am.
WRAP-UP - Pack up and break down equipment. Leave site.
ANALYSIS - Over the next few days all photo, audio, and video data will be heavily analyzed and scrutinized.
EVIDENCE REVEAL TO CLIENT - O.S.I. will present all findings and potential evidence and data discovered to the client.

Possible Reasons or Theories for Hauntings
Two of several theories O.S.I. will focus on for our paranormal investigations will be the manipulation of everyday electrical and magnetic fields by potential entities attempting communication, and the possibility that water could act as a conductor for paranormal activity.
These activities could include anything from anomalous sound (footsteps, knocking, etc..), EVP's, and any visual phenomena. Hopefully we can correlate these activities with any abnormal readings from our equipment and through some historical and/or geological research into the area. Or preferably through both!!!
Other factors we will be noting during our paranormal investigations will be the lunar cycle and the general weather of the area at the time. This will include the temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure.
Other potential factors in conducting ghostly activity could be the stone record theory and simply extreme emotional ties whether positive or negative. The stone record theory states that rocks and minerals act as a recorder for strong emotional events and these events are played back as the same action over and over. An example would be hearing the ghostly scream of a murder victim every night or every two months and you discover the land is filled with quartz beneath the surface. Or perhaps a person really loved their home and that attachment plays itself over and over as the ghost of the woman who walks through the kitchen wall every evening at 11:00. The wall that was built when someone moved in. In essence the emotions are the music, the rock is the record, and the haunting activity is the record being played.
By logging all the data we can and looking at it in conjunction with any potential evidence we may find, a direct scientific link as to what is happening may eventually be attained. Hopefully in time we will begin to put more and more theories and procedures into practice as we continue to investigate and search for real, verifiable, conclusive proof as to what exactly millions and millions of people claim is going on.
